Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love. - Lao Tzu

As stated in our mission, Creative Minds Academy strives for a community in which parents and teachers are active in the development of each student and take part in their care. We believe that part of this care is teaching children at an early age to be charitable. That is why we engage in several community outreach programs instilling good moral values and teaching the importance of helping others.

Not only does this help them realize the importance of taking care of those who are less fortunate, but it also helps them develop a good appreciation for how fortunate they are. Teaching children about charity and the importance of giving early in life, will help them grow into adults who have respect and empathy for other people. In addition to teaching them important life lessons, charity can also help children feel good about themselves.

Throughout the year, we participate in several local and national charitable events, raising money, foods, and gifts for children and their families such as:

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Walk-A-Thon and Fund Raiser
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Pennies for Patients
Toys for Tots
St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

Not only do we believe in giving with money, but also with time. After all, sometimes the most important thing you can give another person is just a little bit of your time. Creative Minds Academy teaches children about giving of their time through our Adopt a Soldier program, E Pals Global Community (a worldwide pen pal program), and by visiting local nursing homes where we sing and bring gifts to the elderly.

“It's not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” - Mother Teresa
